From the City to the Hive
2020 | Farmstead Established
Chris had always loved the energy of downtown Houston, but the pull of open land eventually won out. He relocated to rural West Tennessee and put down roots on 50 acres in Carroll County, trading the city skyline for something quieter and more his own. The farmstead became the foundation for everything that followed.
2022 | The Stephens Family
The farmstead was always meant to be more than one person's project. When Quentin came to West Tennessee, the land took on a new energy. Two people, one vision, and a whole lot of acreage to tend. What had been one chapter became something bigger: a home built together, rooted in the same values and growing in the same direction.
2024 | Bloom & Buzz Apiary
The hives came last, but they changed everything. Chris started Bloom & Buzz with a few colonies and a lot to learn, and the bees wasted no time making themselves at home across the West Tennessee landscape. Today the apiary produces raw, small-batch honey harvested right here on the homestead, and the bees keep the gardens thriving in the process.
